Yoke Kong’s 21st

The first among the MCA growing old would be Yoke Kong We had dinner at Meatworks in Soho, Solaris. It’s exactly opposite of th cold storage, a corner lot. You won’t miss it. They have good ambience and I think their food was really good, in fact. I’ll definately go back And more over, I think it’s more reasonable than The Ship. Have a try and let me know

mushroom soup

We all love mushroom soup. This is one of the best mushroom soup that I’ve had. Really good. Lots of mushroom bits in it and very itallian kind of mushroom soup. Served with croutons. Yum.

Well, I have to admit that all the food was good except this wrong choice of salad! It was Pinkii’s idea anyway. It’s scallops but it was to tasteles and not much of texture. It tasted like sashimi kind. Okay, maybe the 5 of us who tried it just do not like it as raw.

The boys ordered the meat tht weighs 1kg for RM110. It was huge and delicious. It says allow cooking time up to an hour. Strictly for sharing. Four of them shared this piece!

As a fish lover, I ordered this cod fish which was simply delicious. It’s really fresh and it’s served with abalone gravy which so yummy. We finished the gravy :p he he he

This year, there will be many 21st-es to come and it’s going to be a broke year. However, it’s good to watch my own friends all grown up (okay, not SO grown up but we’re legal now). Now I wish that I’ll never grow old everrr. But but, that’s not gonna happen.

chocolate fondue

Hello people Sorry I’ve only been able to update like prolly once a week. Been kind of busy lately. Okay, I always have excuses. Anyway, last week my sis and I went out with Kavi & Rohini for chocolate fondue for breakfast! It sounded so delicious and I couldn’t say no. We went to haagen dazs for their chocolate fondue. Boy, it was delicious! The pot of chocolate is like a pot of gold!

This chocolate fondue is the first in my life and it’s really good! Okay, probably it’s because I haven’t tried the rest. But it’s really good. They have cakes and some biscuits too. The cake was in little cubes and it’s just so fantastic when you dip it with warm chocolate. Omg, I think I want it now…

Suddenly, I feel that I’m really really blessed with so many awesome people that loves me for me.

I have a best friend who runs errand for me while I rush off to work.

I have another male close friend who would just go out with me to buy my stuff without hesitation. And even treat me my favourite, Starbucks. He even knows I really wanted one particular song but I was too tired to wait and went off to sleep so he emailed me instead. How sweet.

Then, even my new friends are so kind one.

Another male bestie at Kampar also take the effort to come down next two weeks for my big day.

At work, I get tipped. It’s the first ever. I’ve had a couple of drinks customers insist to buy for me though I’ve only worked for about 2 weeks.

Then my mom who knows I have skin allergy went to buy me herb drinks and left it at dinner table because she’ll be asleep when I get home from work.

I have another loving sis who buys me everything I need and checks on me time to time to make sure I’m okay. We skype during the day.

Even the bf who went outstation to work came back home after three days and bought me a nice pair of white shoes that I’ll always love.

 

I really count my blessings and I hope I’m a blessing to them as well. God is good!. Tenkiu <3 i heart you all.

 

siu yuk exploration

Yum Yum. My new found friend, John & Chee Seng decided to bring me to eat the most delicious ’siu yuk’ in town (they claim so) and they were telling me how awesome it tastes. Well, being such a greedy person, I decided to go and taste this wonderful siu yuk. It is located behind Times Square, near Shaw Parade. Forgive me, I was too excited to try and hence, I forgot the name of that shop. But I can roughly tell you where, I hope. It’s just like any other coffee shop and it’s on a corner lot.

Anyway, I must say, this siu yuk tasted sooooooo good. Compared to the ones my mom buys from the market (which I think isn’t too bad anyway) this is nothing like it. It has brought me to a whole new level of how siu yuk tastes Okay, since it is soo awesome possum, there’s a price to pay. This plate with soo little siu yuk that we shared among the three of us, cost RM45. Yes, RM45. So lunch was RM72 with half chicken and rice. Oh, and drinks. Now I know how expensive ‘kai fan’ can cost. :S But but it was a treat. I feel so blessed knowing the best people in life. He he he.

Work today was rather boring. So, till the next ones where I’ll update properly :p

Happy 21st Birthday, Si Yan

Happy Birthday, Si Yan! You’re finally legal :p Celebrated another friend’s 21st, the second in 2010. Si Yan had a pot luck little picnic in a park at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. It’s the one near the school. No pictures of the park, but it’s a lovely park, very big. They even have a man-made waterfall. Oh oh, the most interesting part of the picnic is the ‘pinyada’. I really do not know how you spell that but it’s pronounced that way and you have to hit it until it breaks open and drops all the candies. Yum. After it was dark, we left for Sid’s at TTDI as well.

Sorry I took such a long time to update and I was suppose to update with photos from Sibu but I’m soo lazy. Wait, I’m not exactly lazy. I’m busy. Oh did I tell? I’m now working at Santini in Tropicana City Mall in the evenings till night. I think I’m getting stuffed working here. They have good food. mmm.
